Hello To all.... I am due to have surgery on May 31st. I am very excited and cant wait... I think its still not real to me. I have had a long road to get here... I should be on the track team as many hurdles as i have had to jump.LOL. But here we are I am having the DS. I would love any encouragment or information. please nothing negative. I would like to find some friends that i can talk to if i have any questions and to also share my sucess with and encourage ... Not to familiar with how all this works.. but i am sure i will learn... Good to meet everyone...:yay:

Welcome to the site Shawna - I must say the forum is not active at the moment, that's being generous LOL - but there is some good info posted in the forums and in our wls articles (http://wlsjourney.org/community-forums/wls-articles/) depository.

I had the RNY so I'm not terribly familiar with the DS - I've heard some really good things about it though. Especially as it pertains to those with really high BMI - I see you're highest weight at 420 - I was right there at 428- Anyway - 3 cheers to a very success surgery for ya! ;)

Hey Shawna, it is now June 25th. How did your surgery go? How has your recovery been?

I'm kinda curious as well - it's been close to a month post-op = welcome to the losers bench Shawna = hope things are good with you!
