It's nice to meet everyone. MsJacquiiC 01-27-2011, 04:28 AM Hi and welcome to the site. 6 years post-op wow! How have you done? Have you kept the weight off? http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/2200/blackgoldft6.gif Postop 01-27-2011, 02:43 PM Yep. I work hard at it. Pretty much protein, protein, protein & then some junk once a week. Plus, of course, as a DSer -- a ton of vits/minerals/iron a day. I have some links I could prob. put up (as my signature) that would tell my story more fully & show the pics I took every 3 mos. for the first year & now take yearly on my anniversary in April. Thanks for the nice welcome. http://clicksmilies.com/s1106/mini/small-smiley-006.gif. Hope it's going well for you, too. MsJacquiiC 01-28-2011, 07:49 PM Feel free to post your links. You can edit your signature here (http://wlsjourney.org/community-forums/profile.php?do=editsignature), and it will show in most all your forum posts. You can also add albums here at The Journey ==> http://wlsjourney.org/community-forums/members/albums.html And yeah - things are going relatively well for me. Thanks for asking! Kinda fell off the wagon a little bit over the holidays. I think it's been a bit of a wakeup call for me hopefully. Because WLS is a tool. You can use it or abuse it and it seemed like through the November and December months - I kinda chose to abuse it :( --- Trying to get back on track again though - I've lost over 170 pounds thus far and will be happy to maintain my current weight. Perhaps with a little bit of exercise and sticking to the good habits, I'll see even more weightloss. Congrats on your success thus far - you're an inspiration! |
