Posting your own threads at WLS Journey Community Forums is actually quite easy. You can view the main forum index -- which is a comprehensive list of all available forums -- from any page on the entire site/forum by simply clicking the Community Forums link in the main navigation menu.

Posting A Thread
  1. On the main forum index select either the forum or sub-forum you want to post in and click the corresponding link.
(You may also click the icon to go directly to the 'Post New Thread' formfield for each main forum section.)
  2. Complete the 'Post New Thread' form as specified below.
    • Entitle your post in the 'Title' formfield.
    • The 'Thread Description' formfield is optional but should be a brief description of your thread.
    • Include the contents of your post in the 'Message' formfield.
    • Click the 'Submit New Thread' button to post your thread.

This is a great tutorial! It really helps and make sense for those of us who need to see it visually...

1 ? though. If we post it in the wrong area, are you able to move it to the correct place?

Have a great day!

Well - someone had told me that she is quite efficient at navigating new websites and that navigating The Journey had left her frustrated. And I just didn't get that at all really. I was also told that the forum has too much advertising as well - almost a grocery list of things she hated about The Journey LOL, though she was quite liking the passion I have for providing such a support system for the WLS community...

Anyway - All sections throughout the forum can easily be accessed via the main navigation section at the top of each page:

So - I thought I'd post a few tutorials on navigating the board - It seems simple to me anyway.

As far as moving posts - no. Only Members of The Journey Moderating Team (which currently includes only me ) will be able to move, copy & delete posts. Members may edit there posts though for up to 24 hours ((this is to deter members from simply erasing the contents of their posts...)) Of course Members can request their posts be moderated by sending a PM to yours truly

Jacquii.
