Uploading images within your forum threads, posts and other sections here at The Journey is quite easy. There are two simple ways to accomplish this:
  1. Use the bbcode button which will display the bbcode:
    [img]http://example.com/image-name.gif[/img]
  2. Attach an image using by uploading directly to our server.
  3. Insert pictures from your Journey Photo Album(s)

Using The BBcode Image:
  1. Click the button to bring up the image formfield pop-up.
  2. Enter the URL of your image.
(Images must be in the format http://example.com/image-name.gif)

Attach Images Via Upload:
  1. Click the "Manage Attachments" button in the Additional Options section (Attach Files section if Quick Reply)
  2. Select image(s) to be uploaded
(You may upload from your own computer or from an image file - Images must be in the format http://example.com/image-name.gif)
  3. Click the "Upload" button at the bottom of the formfield.

------------------------------
------------------------------

We also allow Members to create their own photo albums in which to upload pictures. All Member-created albums will show in The Journey Members' Photo Gallery unless the album is marked as private. This feature is particularly nice, as pictures may receive comments from other Members. Creating an album and uploading pictures may be accomplished by the following steps:

Creating A Photo Album & Uploading Pictures To It.
  1. On either the Photo Gallery or Albums page click the Add Albums link.
  2. Entitle your album with a short description.
(Make your album public for best results.)
  3. On the next page - Click the "Click here to upload pictures!" Link
  4. The next page -- entitled Upload Pictures -- will present you with a form field in which you may upload pictures. You may only upload up to 3 pictures at a time, with an unlimited about of pictures per album.

------------------------------
------------------------------

Adding pictures that you have already upload to a Journey Photo Album is now made simple as pie. After creating your photo album and adding pictures as listed in the steps above, you now have the option to easily add your images into your posts & threads at the click of a few buttons. The steps below will show you how:

Inserting Images From Your Photo Album
  1. Click either the Click Here To Insert Pictures From Your Photo Album(s) link OR the button to open the Insert Photos and Images pop-up window.
  2. Clicking your selected image will automatically insert a bbcode similar to the code seen below directly into your post:
