Default Hi Everyone Ganyssa Started This Thread

I'm new here. I'm Christie, I'm pre-op for 25 more days. I'll be having lap RNY on November 30. I'm starting my liquid diet tomorrow - my surgeon requires four weeks of Optifast pre-op.

Hey Christie and welcome to The Journey - you can edit your avatar if you like

2 and a half weeks to the big day eh? I know you must be excited...about the surgery. But probably not too excited about the optifast diet LOL - Thank goodness my surgeon didn't require a pre-op diet except for the mandated dietician classes.

Anyway - congrats on beginning your journey and again = welcome. Enjoy and happy posting!

Jacquii.

Hi Christie!

Good luck on the Optifast. If and when it gets tough, just remember that it is helping your liver to become more healthy for surgery. It is worth it, just keep your eye on the big picture! Hang in there!
