Hi Bev = Welcome to The Journey and congrats! You're date is less than 2 weeks away - I know you must be extremely excited. I'm excited for you! LOL --- Nice site too - I know that your mobility will change for the better as you loose weight. Mine sure has. I see too that you've started supplimenting 50,000 IU of vitD once per week. Kinda funny because I was deficient as well and started the same dosage several months before my roux-en-y.

I have added your blog in WLS Testimonial Sites section of our WLS Link Directory. I hope you might add a link back to The Journey on your blog - we have readymade banners and link codes at WLSJourney.org - The Journey WLS Link Directory

Again - welcome to the forum and happy posting!

Jacquii.

Hang in there, it won't be long now. Look at how much you've already accomplished!!! You get to count that weight loss of 43# which is impressive by itself. Pat yourself on the back...

Post here and read as much as you can, it helps the time fly by....

Yeah - 43 pounds lost pre-op is quite an accomplishment! I couldn't have done it - In fact I tried to loose weight during the mandated 6 months dietician classes... Didn't work LOL - but now as post-op - the only regret I have is that I didn't pursue WLS a couple years sooner. But I suppose it's true: everything in its own time.
