Bow Hello from Sheppard AFB Texas nowasober1 Started This Thread

Hi Everyone. Just a quick note to introduce myself. My name is Michelle Shelby. I had Gastric Bypass 2 1/2 years ago and have lost 90 pounds. I have managed to keep my goal weight off and on for over a year. Have had stomach issues since surgery but would not change it for the world. My husband is Military and we will be leaving for Dover Deleware in 43 days. Hope to meet new people here as well as stay in touch with some of the people I already know. Looking forward to it.

How the HELL did I manage to miss your intro thread Michelle?!?!? At anyrate - better late than never right = Welcome to The Journey. It's a pleasure to meet ya. Do feel free to update your profile to include your current info, as well as edit your avatar.

At anyrate - congrats on the success! Has it been tough maintaining your weightloss? I'd be interested in knowing that, as I think at this moment (I'm 5 months post-op roux-en-y) it seems kinda easy, as I'm developing some pretty good eating habits... I cannot seem to even consider 2 years from now though.

Again - I say welcome to the community = enjoy and Happy posting!

Jacquii.
