Greetings everyone,

I am so impressed with the web site, and really am glad to be able to join. I am not going to be going for a surgery procedure, but am still trying to loose weight. The weight I have is from years of solumedrol from my MS treatments. I am looking forward to meeting some of you on here, and look forward to the experience. I am a retired symphony musician (french horn), and now own a small business in central florida. I have a wonderful family, 3 children all adopted from Eastern Europe, and hoping to add more in the next year. My wife is a PT assistant, and is a real angel.

We have 2 dogs (a boston terrier that is all about Daddy, and a cavalier king charles puppy that is my wifes). We live pretty close to the beach, and can watch the space shuttle launches from our back yard. Really exciting things going on here.

Have a great day - and look forward to getting to know some of you.

Mr Mark

Hi Mr. Mark - I love the profile pic! Once had a pit bull called Boston because he looked exactly like a boston terrier with his black/white markings.

Anyway - welcome to The Journey - we have been quite slow the past several months... We do have quite a bit of info available to anyone who'd like to loose weight, regardless of surgery status - so we welcome you with open arms.

I see you have about an 80 pounds to get to your goal weight - it's quite possible I say. So good luck with that and enjoy the forum

Jacquii.
