Well, this may seem silly to some but being a post-op gastric bypass patient and losing over 75 lbs in 4 short months, it will make sense to others like me.

First of all, I was with my friend Tammy whom I adore and have been friends with since 3rd grade. Exchanged Yule gifts. But this was special because for the first time in my entire life I felt confident, secure, pretty, attractive....NORMAL. I sat in the chair comfortably and felt small in the seat. I flirted with the handsome waiter and laughed and laughed. I actually ATE. The sushi was so delicious and I used my chopsticks with very little difficulty, lol. I wasn't anxious and self-conscious. It's so strange to feel like part of the world again. Wonderfully strange. Magickal. To feel like a woman and attractive and sexy is exquisite. I feel like my world is opening up before me in a whole new way and so filled with hope for my future I am filled with such gratitude for the blessing of losing this weight...

To walk up and down the beautiful city streets and talk to strangers and passersby and not be wondering if they are disgusted by me. It's an amazing feeling. I enjoyed every sound, scent, taste, touch and sights tonight unabashedly and it was pure freedom! "Free at last, Free at last, Thank God Almighty I am Free at last!" No more pudding and soup and jello. No more not being able to eat what everyone else is eating. I am feeling strong and young and vibrant and I feel so so blessed...I thank the Universe with all my heart, the Lord and Lady, for this gift of a reborn new life! Blessed Be.

Ah - I'm not too bad - I decided to take a bit of an impromptu break from WLSJourney.org after Facebook decided to scrap the hours of promotion I worked on via our Facebook page... As far as real life stuff though - I'm doing well - I've lost more weight - at last weigh-in I was down 127 pounds - I'm knocking on Twoderville's door

Anyway - glad to see you're doing well! Happy Yule! It's gonna be one helluva an insteresting 2010

Jacquii.
