2010 is gonna be a great year!!!

Well what better way to start a new year than by starting my journey blog. I have a surgery date of Feb. 9th for my DS with Dr. Boyce. I am so excited and thrilled to begin my new life toward normalcy. I'm planning on a six week recovery period with an additional 2 weeks available should I need it. I want to make sure I am fully acclimated to my change in dietary requirements and my system has regained some degree of 'normalcy'. I travel extensively by car in my job and eat out a whole bunch, so I really need to be prepared to meet my bodies needs properly.

Happy new year to ya Alan and congrats on the surgery date! I had the roux-en-y with Dr. Boyce last year April 28th. You picked an awesome team in Dr. Boyce and the New Life people. Must be getting excited right? Surgery less than a month away. I think you'll do great.
Also - welcome to the forum - I'm gonna get back into the swing of things soon and start promoting member activity so we'll have a nice support system here!
