The following is a quote by Kelly Williams, the Exercise Physiologist with New Life Center for
Bariatric Surgery (Dr. Boyce & Dr. Williams' office) in Knoxville, Tennessee. I think the knowledge espoused within is special, so I share it in hopes that it gives you a bit of inspiration as well.

Hello everyone,
If you exercise regularly, what is going to keep you motivated to exercise for better health forever?
If you are not exercising regularly, what is going to motivate you to accomplish this?
Think of your exercise as physical medicine, take it as often as you can just like you take other medicine. The only difference is that your physical medicine is forever, hopefully some of your prescriptions will be eliminated as you get healthier.
Have a great week.
Be fit.

Bariatrics
|
 |
The branch of medicine that deals with the causes, prevention, and treatment of obesity. The term bariatrics was created around 1965, from the Greek root baro ("weight," as in barometer), suffix -iatr ("treatment," as in pediatrics), and suffix -ic ("pertaining to"). Besides the pharmacotherapy of obesity, it is concerned with obesity surgery. |
